Who doesn’t love wavy textures? But sometimes you just want a nice sleek straight look. That’s the best thing about our virgin hair extensions you can change up your look using any of our textures.  Here are some helpful tips on how I straighten my wavy hair.

Straightening Your Extensions

I tend to use very few products on my hair although it is very beneficial to use a heat protectant when applying heat to your hair. (for best results start with freshly washed hair) detangle your hair removing any snags. Place your hair into 4-6 sections using hair ties. Place your flat iron on 350, take small pieces and begin to straighten. Go through your entire head until all hair is nice and straight.

Heat Protectant

Using a heat protectant will protect your hair extensions from heat damage. This is an important step to do if you plan to use heat on your hair on a regular basis. Cantu Thermal Shield heat protector also reduces frizz and adds a nice sheen to your hair. This is one of my favorite brands to use. (for best results start with freshly washed hair) Start by detangling your hair removing any snags or knots. Place your hair into 4-6 sections using hair ties. Place your flat iron on 350 degrees, take small pieces and begin to straighten. Go through your entire head until all your hair is nice and straight.

 Finished Look

Once finished you can add a light amount of oil for sheen if needed. Your hair will look and feel lightweight and will flow with the wind. Your hair is beautifully straightened to a sleek and straight look.
