Step 1: Secure Your Wig
Securing your wig is an important step. Start by using your favorite glue, tape or gel. My favorite is Got2B Glued freeze spray.
This freeze spray has super hold and is very easy to remove. Once applied allow the spray to dry.

Step 2: Part Your Hair
Once your wig is secure style you baby hair if you like. Then Part your hair to create a high ponytail. Try to get your part as straight as possible for a neat and even part.
Step 3: Create Your Ponytail
Next, you want to create your ponytail. Since I have deep wave hair, I am using water and conditioner to detangle and create my ponytail.

Step 4: Smooth Out Your Ponytail
The best way for me to create a smooth and flat ponytail is by using mousse. Apply the mousse to your frontal and smooth it out by combing with a fine-tooth comb. Use a hair bow and create a tight ponytail.

Step 5: Hide Your Hair Bow
Take a small piece of hair from the back of your ponytail and create a braid or twist. Wrap it around the hair bow securing it with a bobby pin. This will hide the bow and create a little height to your ponytail.

Next, to define my waves I’m adding some mousse to my damp hair. This will bring your waves to life. If you have straight or wavy hair this step can be skipped.
Step 7: Bun or Ponytail
Now it’s time to decide if you want to wear your hair in a bun or ponytail. For a bun simply take the ponytail and neatly wrap it around the braid or twist you created. Use a bobby pin to secure it.
